Special College Scholarship for the ALS Community in New York
Ride for Life, Inc., a Long Island based not-for profit charity, has made available its annual scholarship of monies totaling $7,000.00 to a graduating senior(s) who has had an ALS family member. The Scholarship winner will be notified by April 16th and money will be available and made payable to the college on or about August 1, 2011. This scholarship is funded by the philanthropic participation of the ALS community, Long Island educators, Long Island Teacher Unions, generous business organizations, and health care professionals.
