Since Ride for Life began in 1998, News12 Long Island has traveled with us on every annual Ride for Life event. We congratulate producer Michael DelGiudice and the team at News12, not only for their journalistic excellence, but for helping people living with ALS by creating awareness of the disease.

News12 Long Island won Emmy awards in 1999 and 2000 for their news coverage of Ride for Life and were also nominated more 8 times, over the past 5 years.

The New York Emmy Awards will be presented on March 30. Good luck to News12!
