Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of project management services, announced it signed a contract with the Dalhousie University Brain Repair Centre (BRC), Halifax, Canada, to provide management consulting services to the Stem Cells for Brain Repair Project. Robbins-Gioia will work with the BRC to establish a comprehensive project plan for this initiative. The initial two-month engagement will directly support the BRC's proposal to the Atlantic Innovation Fund to sponsor groundbreaking stem cell research focused on developing novel cell lines for Huntington's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and spinal cord injury.

Robbins-Gioia was selected based on its ability to help the BRC clearly define project objectives including schedule, cost and funding requirements that cut across organizational lines and multiple disciplines and professions. The BRC recognized the need for a reputable industry and subject matter expert/facilitator to provide the due diligence necessary to prepare a comprehensive and valid estimate, and secure AIF funding for the duration of the project.
