Ride for Life
September 8, 2003

lippman.jpgTom Lippmann passed away today (9/6/03) at about 4:30 of respiratory failure. The Ride for Life family extends their deepest sympathy to his wife Susan, his children and his in laws Barry and Lori.

Tom loved to sport his white, ponytailed locks which framed his easy smile. He joined the Ride family out at Montauk on Day 1 and over the next nine days put many hours and miles in on the Ride. Tom verbalized on many occasions how much he enjoyed the experiences of the Ride. He talked about being energized and happy, two feelings that he thought he had lost. Well, speaking for all the Ride family, it was us who enjoyed our experiences with him. Tom, the Ride will continue to roll on. We will roll closer and closer until a cure is found. We will carry you with us.

Chris Pendergast, PALS
Founder of Ride for Life
