BOSTON, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- With the support of fans, the Red Sox have broken the Curse of the Bambino. With that victory now accomplished, Red Sox Pitcher Curt Schilling is turning to fans, with the hope that they will help him break another curse: The Curse of ALS. Share in the World Series victory celebration with Curt Schilling by contributing to his cause.

This past Sunday, when Curt pitched in the World Series, he also sent out a message to his fans. He wrote on his shoe, "K ALS", short for "strike out ALS". Since that game, fans have contributed more than $20,000 to the fight against ALS. But, the Curt's Pitch for ALS program in Massachusetts still remains $40,000 short of its $500,000 goal for this year. The focus is now on fans, to help Curt strike out ALS by making a contribution.
The "Curt's Pitch for ALS" program was founded by Curt and Shonda
Schilling more than ten years ago. Its aim is to raise awareness of ALS, and to raise funds for ALS research and patient support services.
