This episode features Stan Silver and his wife Phyllis. Stan is battling ALS and he and his wife are strong advocates for the disease. The couple also participate in this year's Ride for Life event and traveled the entire 150 mile route from Manhattan to Montauk, on the tip of Long Island.
Also, Jackie Puerta the ALS Healthcare Services Coordinator for the MDA. Stan will share his story of battling ALS and talk about services that are offered to people to learn more about the disease and what is being done to fight it.
